False Claimant of Representatives of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s) - Muhammad bin Nasir Numairi (l.a.)

(Reference : Behaarul Anwaar : Vol. 51, Ch: 22)

Says Ibne Nuh, Abu Nasr Hibatullah Ibne Muhammad said: Muhammad Ibne Nasir Numairi was from the companions of Abu Muhammad Hasan Ibne Ali (a.s.). And when Abu Muhammad was transferred to his eternal abode, Muhammad claimed the position of Abu Ja’far Muhammad Ibne Uthman, that is, he claimed that he was the deputy of the Imam of the Age. He claimed “Babiyya,” that is, to be a gateway to the Imam. Allah disgraced and humiliated him through the blasphemy and ignorance, which he manifested, and through the curse of Abu Ja’far Muhammad Ibne Uthman and his dislike and denunciation of him. He claimed this position after Shari.

Shaykhut Taifa says in Kitab Ghaibat :

A group of scholars narrated to us from Abu Muhammad Talakbari on the authority of Abu Ali Muhammad Ibne Himam, saying, Shari’s patronymic was Abu Muhammad. Harun said: I think his name was Hasan and he was from the companions of Abul Hasan Ali Ibne Muhammad and then after him from the companions of Hasan Ibne Ali.He is the first one who claimed a position that Allah did not assign to him and he was not qualified for it.

When Abu Amr Uthman Ibne Saeed died, his son Abu Ja’far Muhammad Ibne Uthman stood in his place, on the virtue of the clear instructions of Imam Hasan Askari (a.s.) and the instructions of his father about the time of the Qaim (a.s.).A group of scholars narrated to me on the authority of Abul Hasan Muhammad Ibne Ahmad Ibne Dawood Qummi and Ibne Qulawayh from Saad Ibne Abdullah, saying, the Veracious Shaykh Ahmad Ibne Ishaq Ibne Saad Ashari narrated to us, and then he mentions the account which we brought earlier.

A group of our scholars narrated to me from all of the eminent personages of Abul Qasim Ja’far Ibne Muhammad Ibne Qulawayh and Abu Ghalib Razi and Abu Muhammad Talakbari, who all narrate from Muhammad Ibne Yaqub Kulaini, who narrates from Muhammad Ibne Abdullah and Muhammad Ibne Yahya, who narrate from Abdullah Ibne Ja’far Himyari, saying, I and Shaykh Abu Amr were with Ahmad Ibne Ishaq Ashari Qummi. Ahmad Ibne Ishaq made a gesture to me to ask him about the successor. So, I asked him, “O Abu Amr, I want to ask you a question;however, I am not unsure about what I want to ask you, for my faith and my belief is that the earth does not remain without a Hujjah, unless it is forty days prior to Judgement day.

(Reference : Najmuth Saquib Ch:7, Behaarul Anwaar Ch:23)

The accomplished scholar, Ali bin Isa Irbili says in Kashful Ghummah that: Some people informed me from my trusted friends that there was a person in Hilla known as Ismail bin  Hasan Harqali from a village known as Harqal, who died during my time, but whom I did not have a chance to meet.

His son Shamsuddin narrated to me that his father said that an abscess came up on his left thigh and became as big as a fist. This abscess was there for a long time and it particularly gave him severe during the spring season. He used to lose a it of blood through  He said that he wasn't able to properly offer his mandatory prayers because of the abscess. He worried so much about this that he went from village to the town of Hilla. There he met Sayyid Raizuddin Ibne Taoos, who was the most eminent scholar of the Shia during those days although he wasn't recognised as their Pontiff, only perhaps because he abstained from issuing edicts to the believers. Ismail Harqali met him and explained his problem.

In our time was a noble and righteous personality by the name of Amir Ishaq Astarabadi. He had completed 40 Hajjs on foot. It was famous among the people that the earth used to fold up for him. One year he came to Isfahan. I went to him to ask him about the fame he had earned. He told me: “The cause of that honor is that one year when I was on my way to the Holy House of Allah, along with other pilgrims, and when we were at a distance of seven or nine stages from Mecca, I was, for some reason, left behind the caravan and soon they went out of my sight. I lost my way and overcome with thirst, I was about to die when I prayed:

Meeting with Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) - Kabli's good fortune

Translated from the book Madinatul Ma-ajiz (City of Miracles )

Muhammed bin Shazan narrates that, I got to meet  Kabli with Abu Saeed Hindi.  He said that in Injeel (Bible)  I had read about the truthfulness of Islam and became a muslim. Thereafter  I went in search of Imam Zaman(a.s.) in different cities, but no-where I could find about His whereabouts. Then I came to Madina-Munawwara and to whom so ever  I mentioned about Imam Zamana (a.s.), he belittled me.
Then one day, I met Yahya bin Mohammed Arizi and I asked him about Imam Zaman(a.s.) and
he answered :  The one whom you are searching is in Syria.

Hearing this I went to Syria and reached the footsteps of a house that had a covering . I laid myself at the doorstep. One black faced slave came and informed me not to lie down here and to get up from here and go to some other place.

I said that I will not go to any place from here. After this the slave went inside the house and then asked me to enter inside.

Translated from the book Madinatul Ma-ajiz (City of Miracles )

1.       The Late Rawandi mentions as follows :
Imam Zamana (a.s.) had appointed emissary for fulfilment of rights and guiding people in the laws of religion. His first Emissary was Sheikh Usman bin Saeed Amri. After his death, Imam Zamana  (a.s.) appointed his Abu Jafar Mohammed bin Usman as his emissary.

After him Abul Qasim Hussain bin Roh was appointed as Imama Zamana’s(a.s.) emissary. After him Ali bin Mohammed Seymouri was appointed as Your emissary. After his death the chain of emissary came to an end. And whatever goods the people used to bring to the Four Emissaries, they used to mention sign of the goods and the signs of their owners to people. And these signs they used to obtain from Imam Zamana (a.s.).

3
Mohammed bin Ali bin Hussain says that when death was approaching Abu Jafar Mohammed bin Usman Amri, I was sitting towards his head side and busy in asking questons and talking to him. That time Abul Qasim Hussain bin Roh was sitting at his footside. Amri looked at me and said:

“Imam Zamana(a.s.) has ordered me that I appoint Abul Qasim Hussain bin Roh as my successor.”

Hearing this I got up from my place and made Abul Qasim to sit there and myself sat at the place where previously he was sitting.

Abu Abdullah bin Surah Qummi narrates as follows :
“In Ahwaz I met a person whose name was Sarwar, however I have forgotten his genealogy and he used to pray excessively and used to perform the Night Prayers.
That man narrated to  me that “In childhood I was deaf and dumb and remained in that condition for fourteen years. Then my father and uncle took me to Hussain bin Roh to seek his blessings. There they said to him to request Imam Zamana (a.s) that this boy starts speaking. Hussain bin Roh said that Imam Zamana (a.s) has ordered you that you take this boy to Karbala.
Hearing this, my father and uncle took me to Karbala. There we performed ghusl and did Ziarat. Then my father called me by saying : Sarwar!
My tongue opened up and I said Labbaik.
Then he asked : You have started speaking ?
I answered : Yes, the knots of my toungue have opened up and now I can speak.”

The narrator narrates that this person used to speak but never used to speak with a loud voice.
